Job Description

We are currently hiring a Part Time Experience Guide in Milton, DE . Provides the ultimate experience for all guests visiting our Brewery. Tells the finest of tales about all things Dogfish while ensuring a safe, memorable, and factually accurate campus tour. Delivers an excellent bartending experience in addition to covering in the shop, host stand and kitchen window when necessary.
What You'll Brew:
Executes duties as tour guide with excellence, telling the DFH story with a high level of accuracy and passion Executes duties as host/greeter, introducing guests to the DFH experience, checking for valid ID, booking tours, providing tasting cards, and answering all general inquiries Execute duties as bartender with excellence: adhering to prescribed pour sizes, providing beer & spirit education to guests, operate cash registers/POS, work growler filler, change kegs, etc. Makes kegged cocktails and other specialty drinks that are served at the bar Covers in the retail shop and covers kitchen register as needed Understands and can explain with a high level of detail DFH's story (past, present and future), DFH culture, the brewing process, ingredients, fermentation, wood aging, yeast room, warehouse, kegging/bottling process, treehouse, DFH special events, Rehoboth locations, Dogfish INN, beer, merch, distilling, etc. Adheres to all safety and sanitation initiatives as required by the position and the company's safety and sanitation program; completes all checklists within prescribed timeframes Maintains certification in ABC server training and follows all DE state liquor laws Completes prescribed side work during every working shift Provides working support to Tour Team as needed Maintains cold storage, changing kegs and cleaning draft equipment as required Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of customer service experience
Level:
10 In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $8.00 per hour. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for tips received during the worked shift.
