The Naturalist role is as a Boat Mate, Kayak Guide and Interpretive Messenger. You must be comfortable with public speaking and working on boats. Loving nature is a must. Many of our Naturalists have become boat captains for us (after a year of work we will reimburse you for your captains license once you're eligible). In addition to hourly pay, full time naturalists make overtime, gratuities and $4025 in annual bonuses. We also offer Paid Time Off, 401K match of 6%, and a Healthcare Reimbursement Plan. Below are the requirements for the job: Must be capable of lifting 50lbs. Must be able to swim multiple strokes and have the endurance to pass multiple swim tests. Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups of 30 people. Must pass a drug test and agree to random testing. Must not get sea sick. Must work Weekends.
