AMBASSADORS AND TOUR GUIDES

(Part-Time) - Downtown Orlando American Ghost Adventures is searching for charismatic, adventurous storytellers to join our year-round team for our downtown Orlando ghost tours!

IMPORTANT

We are ONLY considering candidates who live close to downtown Orlando. If you do not reside nearby, your application will be automatically rejected. This is a part-time position with evening and weekend shifts. Must be 21+ due to pub tours. We're not just hiring a tour guide—we're looking for a natural performer and engaging storyteller who can bring Orlando's haunted history to life. This is an audition , not just an interview. Be ready to impress! We are looking for the ordinary person with extraordinary taste for adventure.

You MUST:

Be passionate about the paranormal—or at least not afraid of ghosts! Be comfortable working part-time and rotating shifts. Have a strong, projecting voice and love telling stories with enthusiasm and flair. Be personable and outgoing. Media interviews and public interactions are part of the job! Live near downtown Orlando , have reliable transportation , and be able to answer your phone. Be a self-starter who follows directions, shows up on time , and pays attention to detail. Be flexible , adaptable, and ready to improvise when needed. Be willing to learn and memorize stories and facts. Bring a sense of humor and wit to the role. Do your homework! Review our website and know who we are before your interview. Must have internet access and a device to write and submit reports from investigations.

PAY & PERKS

$45 per 2-hour tour Merchandise commission + Tips Pay increase after 6 months Specialized tours (Pub Tours, Greenwood Cemetery, Ultimate Tours) have higher pay rates Training is unpaid (Internship model). You'll shadow guides and audition by leading your own tours once ready. This is an ideal side gig for actors, performers, educators, or paranormal enthusiasts who want a flexible, creative outlet and enjoy interacting with the public. If you love storytelling, ghost lore, and delivering unforgettable experiences— this is your stage.
