Job Overview Get Up and Go Kayaking is a premier kayak and eco-tourism company in Florida. We are looking for a few guides to add to our team for a new location opening. Our fun and close-knit crew operates in 100% clear kayaks. As an Eco-Adventure Guide, you will lead groups of 10-12 people on a clear kayak adventure, ensuring safety while providing an engaging and educational environment. You will be responsible for creating memorable adventures that inspire participants to connect with nature and develop new skills. This role requires a passion for the outdoors, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. •Applicants with kayak guiding experience Recommended to apply.• This will be a part-time job and we will be flexible to work with those who make this a second job.

Base Pay:

$60-$200/day, $60 per tour with the chance of multiple tours per day. Plus tips (you keep all tips for your tours) & the ability to make over $100 in bonuses every tour.

Duties:

Must have towing experience to drive company vehicle & pull company trailer. Give/lead guided eco tours Take pictures for guests and marketing team Clean and maintain equipment daily and in-between tours Provide high quality and professional customer service Call and communicate with guests Ensure the safety of all participants by conducting safety briefings and providing necessary equipment. Educate participants about the local environment, wildlife, and conservation efforts. Foster a positive group dynamic through team-building exercises and engaging storytelling. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing participant needs and concerns promptly. Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in safe working condition. Collaborate with other guides Tow equipment to and from launch location Skills Strong leadership abilities to inspire confidence in participants. Excellent public speaking skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing communication with participants from various backgrounds. Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all guests. Effective time management skills to balance multiple tasks during activities. Strong communication skills for clear instructions and feedback. Teaching skills to impart knowledge about Kayaking skills, safety protocols, and environmental awareness.
