The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive educational environment. This role requires effective communication with museum visitors and staff, as well as the ability to educate and engage in various subjects. Duties Assists in the planning and implementation of programs. Helps to coordinate program schedules and activities. Performs administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing correspondence, organizing files, and maintaining databases. Create and distribute event announcement details, coordination. Participate in event activities, coordinate with program director, assist with program tasks. • Experienced in scheduling and confirming educational tours. Plans and organizes tours for clients groups. Coordinates with service providers to ensure smooth execution of tours. Provides exceptional customer service throughout the tour. Handles any issues or emergencies that arise during the tour. Communicates with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Welcomes visitors, introduces docent and tour information or apps, and distributes and collects appropriate assistance devices. Maintains accurate records of bookings and reservations. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Conducts pre-tour briefings with clients. Assists with marketing and promotional activities for tours. Evaluates and improves tour services based on client feedback. Stays updated on industry trends and best practices.
Education and Experience:
B.A. preferred, 5+ years' experience as tour guide or related professional.
