Job Description

  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a Visitor Center Attendant for Amicalola Falls State Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to park visitors, offering information about the park's amenities, activities, and attractions.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent Previous customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of the local area and state park system is a plus
  • Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors upon arrival and provide information about the park Answer questions about park activities, events, and facilities Sell park passes, permits, and merchandise Maintain a clean and organized visitor center Assist visitors with special needs or requests Collaborate with park staff to ensure a positive visitor experience Assists in the Cafe, when needed Other duties as apparent or assigned •
Work Environment:
  • This position is based at the Visitor Center in Amicalola Falls State Park. The role may require standing for extended periods.
  • Schedule:
  • The Visitor Center Attendant role may involve working weekends and holidays to support peak visitor times and special events.
