We specialize in manta ray night snorkel adventures —one of the most unique marine wildlife experiences in the world—and are looking for an energetic, ocean-loving Tour Guide to lead our guests on safe, exciting, and educational tours. This is not your typical walking tour—our guides get in the water with our guests, ensure they're safe and comfortable, and share fascinating insights about manta rays and Kona's marine life.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead guests on in-water manta ray night snorkel tours, ensuring safety, comfort, and a memorable experience Educate guests about manta rays, reef ecology, marine conservation, and local history in a fun and engaging way Assist with gear distribution, safety briefings, and post-tour cleanup Provide excellent customer service from check-in to send-off Maintain a calm, professional demeanor—especially in water-based environments Work as part of a close-knit crew including captain and support team
Requirements:
Strong swimmer and comfortable snorkeling in open ocean at night Energetic, confident communicator who enjoys talking with groups and connecting with guests Passion for the ocean, marine life, and guest education Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before starting) Previous experience in water guiding, lifeguarding, or marine education is a big plus Must be available to work evenings and weekends
