Company Description Nomad Whitewater Adventures is a Main Salmon River outfitter specializing in delivering high-quality, safety-first wilderness rafting experiences. We provide multi-day river expeditions that blend adventure, relaxation, and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the iconic Salmon River corridor. With a modern, guest-centered approach, we aim to create memorable and seamless outdoor experiences. At Nomad Whitewater Adventures, adventure and comfort come together in harmony with the environment. Role Description Nomad Whitewater Adventures is seeking a full-time Raft Guide to lead safe and enjoyable rafting trips for our guests. This role, based in Cascade, ID, involves preparing for expeditions, guiding rafts through the Frank Church Wilderness, ensuring guest safety, and sharing knowledge of the surrounding environment and its unique history. Responsibilities also include maintaining equipment, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with camp activities on multi-day trips, and working collaboratively with the guiding team to deliver an unforgettable guest experience. Qualifications Knowledge of first aid, basic rescue techniques, and risk management protocols Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and team members Physical fitness, endurance, and the ability to safely load/unload heavy gear Familiarity with the Salmon River region and its natural and cultural history is an advantage. First Aid and CPR certification (required). Idaho Guide License is preferred. Passion for outdoor adventure, environmental stewardship, and providing memorable guest experiences
