1 Description American Traveler is hiring a RN Nursing Supervisor for an acute care hospital, requiring an active MA RN license and 5+ years of nursing supervisor or house supervisor experience with Charge Nurse responsibilities. Details 12-hour AM/PM shifts on a D/N rotation schedule, 36 hours per week Every other weekend and every other holiday required Oversees patient care coordination across multiple nursing units and departments on evening, night, and weekend shifts Patient population ranges from infancy to geriatrics Requirements Active MA RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Nursing degree required: diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred) 5+ years of nursing supervisor or house supervisor experience including Charge Nurse responsibilities at an acute care facility Leadership experience required Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills to oversee care for patients across all age groups Additional Information Serves as a clinical role model and provides direction to nursing staff Evaluates care provided by nursing personnel and ensures high-quality, cost-efficient patient care through appropriate staffing decisions Functions as on-site hospital representative coordinating operational and administrative activities during evening, night, and weekend shifts Acts as a member of the Nursing Leadership Team, planning and directing division activities to meet policies and goals Establishes and maintains interdisciplinary communication and cooperation across departments Promotes a positive image of the organization through effective interaction with patients, visitors, physicians, and the community Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are acceptedBenefits
