REPORTS TO

Meg Maccini, Principal

GENERAL DUTIES

Staff hired under this stipend will support the implementation of the Youth-Led Cultural Empowerment Grant funded through La Colaborativa.

Responsibilities may include:

Supporting the planning and facilitation of monthly Healing and Craft Circles for students

Assisting with preparation and execution of student-led workshops, arts activities, and storytelling sessions

Supporting the Artist in Residence program with materials, logistics, and student engagement

Assisting with planning and coordination of the culminating "Comparsa" performance and community gallery event

Supporting student voice, leadership development, and participation in all project components

Helping with setup, cleanup, and coordination of events and activities

Collaborating with CVLA staff, guest artists, and La Colaborativa partners to ensure smooth program implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Ability to support hands-on arts, writing, or workshop-based programming

Current CPS staff member or approved community partner (as applicable)

COMPENSATION

15-20 hours expected. Compensation will be at the contractual hourly rate for teachers and paraprofessionals, or student rate for student workers.
