Faculty - Ric Edelman College of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences This part-time position is responsible for assisting Rowan University's Giordano Fellow in Public History with the running of public programs at Red Bank Battlefield Park. This is a year-round position.
The responsibilities include:
Volunteer and intern management: Scheduling volunteers and interns for public hours and special events; oversee volunteer and intern projects and activities. Communicating with partners and schools for activities and events at Red Bank Battlefield including: Scheduling public programs and tours Assisting the public with registration and answering questions about public programs Scheduling school and group tours Collecting waivers from participants at programs and events Manage county paperwork for public programs including waivers, performance agreements, vendor agreements.
Rate:
$18 per hour
Hours:
This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than (20) hours per week and is not to exceed 944 hours per fiscal year. Work is contracted annually to coincide with the fiscal year and is contingent upon budget appropriations. Preferably Monday-Friday, somewhere between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
