Job Overview Do you love meeting new people, and creating unforgettable experiences? We're looking for a Fun Facilitator to join our tour operator business and help guests discover more of Lancaster County. This role is perfect for someone who's outgoing, community-oriented, and thrives in a role where no two days are the same. From hosting food tours and history tours to mixing and mingling at local events. Duties Lead engaging 2.5-3 hour tours, including food tours, history tours, and more Travel occasionally to local events to build local connections. After 3 months there is an option to add work remotely, booking group tours and corporate, networking events, and general administrative tasks. Perks Hourly pay of $25
  • 35/hour + tips (based on experience) Flexible schedule—you choose your hours each week! Weekly pay for all completed work. A chance to turn your love for people and adventure into a rewarding job! Skills Excellent English Communication Skills
  • Both written and verbal, to engage guests. (Spanish a bonus) Natural Speaker and Storyteller
  • Comfortable leading tours and captivating audiences with enthusiasm and charisma. Highly Organized
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities, including scheduling, tour logistics, and follow-ups. Self-Starter
  • Proactive, motivated, and capable of working independently without constant supervision. Adaptable and Flexible
  • Ready to wear multiple hats and handle changing schedules and priorities with ease. Willingness to Learn

Flexible schedule Application Question(s): This position is best suited for someone CREATIVE and FUN who enjoys being with people, laughing, joking, and spreading cheer. You will be trained for 1-2 weeks and then have minimal oversight in your daily work. Are you able to navigate working alone and getting things done proactively? Group sizes may be up to 14 guest for 1 guide. You must be energetic and engaging while also keeping the experience on track. These experience are lots of fun however you must be focused and observant of everything going on around you without guest knowing that you are multitaking? How well do you multi-task? This position is for someone who learns quickly and has experience with public speaking/entertaining. Prefer someone knowledgeable about navigating around Lancaster City. On a scale of 1-10 how well do you know downtown Lancaster? This business focuses on BIPOC businesses including immigrants, minorities, women and people of color. Are you comfortable talking and teaching learned materials dealing with people of color? This position is year-round, 1099, and part-time. Yes, that means hosting tours outside, sometimes in the cold.(never below freezing) You create your own schedule with a minimum of 3 months provided in advance. . What is your preferred schedule? Are you available a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month? Would you be available 2 Sundays a month?
