As a Travel Consultant, you'll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. What You'll Do § Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups) § Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services § Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations § Use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), including Sabre, Apollo, Galileo and Amadeus. Training may be provided § Ensure compliance to customers' agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements § Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests § Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels § We look forward to sharing more detailed job functions and key performance indicators during the interview process.

Requirements:

Hiring leaders are looking for 10 Travel Counselors for this specific requisition. Please list the days and hours in which your candidate can work under their name on the resume. The goal start date is 3/30 however if needed, we can move to April 6. Please note that April 3 and April 6th are not observed holidays and there will be training those dates. 6 month contract only 1 interview Client manager meeting notes: Single Weekends off - Two Days in a Row. 5 working days in a row. Shifts to fill are within 12pm - 12am. May look like 2-10pm EST, 3-11pm EST, 8-4am EST, 2am - 12pm EST Client is specifically looking for individuals that can work 2nd, 3rd shift and Saturday/Sunday. Weekend coverage will be more discussed more in depth during the interview process. If your candidates are not able to work weekends, please do not submit them.

Skills required:

5 years of Sabre GDS experience Travel experience should include corporation, international experience. If the candidate's experience is only in ticket counter or leisure travel, the client is not interested in that candidate. GBT Traveler Care Requirements:

Internet only, no phone line is needed (GBT uses a VoIP product that works over your internet for making and receiving phone calls) Speed at least 10m download X 2m upload, please ask for the provider's "starter" speed. It usually meets the requirement. If it doesn't, please ask for their first package that meets both the download and upload requirements. Cable, DSL or Fiber connection to residence (no fixed wireless, satellite or cell based services) Ethernet Connection required. Your GBT applications do not work properly using wi-fi. You must be able to connect directly to your modem. DHCP (not static IP) Equipment provided: Computer base, dual monitors, wireless keyboard & Mouse, wired headset, yubikey nano.

Work Environment:

Please ensure the resource has a dedicated, quiet workspace to allow them to have minimal interruptions. This is a client facing role which means they must be fully dedicated while on shift.
