Raft Guide

Job Overview As a Raft Guide, you will lead and educate guests on thrilling whitewater rafting adventures. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for outdoor activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants while providing an engaging and informative experience. Your ability to connect with guests and share your knowledge of the river environment will enhance their adventure. Duties Lead rafting trips on various river sections, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants. Educate guests about river safety, equipment usage, and environmental awareness. Communicate effectively with guests to provide clear instructions and guidance during trips. Demonstrate strong leadership skills by managing group dynamics and addressing any concerns. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Maintain equipment and ensure that all safety gear is in good working condition. Assist in training new guides and share best practices for effective guiding. Manage time efficiently to ensure timely departures and returns from rafting trips. Requirements Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups. Proven leadership experience in outdoor settings or similar environments. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Strong time management skills to coordinate trip logistics smoothly. A passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to environmental stewardship. Previous experience in rafting or related outdoor guiding roles is preferred but not mandatory.
