Trinity River Distillery Tour Guide Overview :

We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Tour Guides to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for whiskey & gin, telling an authentic story, history of our incredible space and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

Understand our distilling process and basic knowledge of whiskey, vodka, gin, and other spirits. Maintain interactions with small to large groups of people (30 max). Be a quick thinker, willingness to learn new information, and seek answers to unknown questions. The tours are an hour long. Run times are Fridays at 7pm and Saturdays at 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7pm. All tours are to be given in a professional manner for small to large groups (up to 26 people). Script is available to learn. Training with the Master Distiller, and shadowing. Tour guides are also responsible for selling merchandise in gift shop proceeding tours, restocking merchandise, and helping break down and set up all tours. This includes washing and drying all glassware for each tasting. This requires an individual to go up and downstairs several times a day. Tour Guides/Event Staff will assist with open and close procedures. To include but are not limited to, cleaning, setting up the patio and tasting room, etc. Tour guides are also needed to help with all special events hosted at the Distillery (Event Staff).

Requirements:

21 years of age or older. TABC Certified. Basic Whiskey & Gin knowledge. Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and consistently walk up and down several flights of stairs. (no elevator due to nature of building). Basic math and money handling skills.

Hours:

Friday 6p-10p, Saturday Noon-8:30p Basic hours are Friday, Saturday plus other days of the week when we have events. Must have availability on Friday & Saturdays with reliable transportation.
