Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. In additon to Tours you will also be trained to run Wine Tastings for our guests! We run Safari Wine Tours in Fredericksburg Texas! The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, sharing information and experiences with others, providing engaging and informative tours to guests. You must be professional, reliable, focused on safety and the customer experience. As a Safari Wine Tour Guide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience by educating them about the uniqueness of each species. We have over 300 exotic animals on site! Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this position, as you will be responsible for managing groups and ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the tour. Responsibilities Lead groups on tours, providing insightful commentary and engaging storytelling. Run wine tastings before and after tours Clean Up, Setup Before Shift Clean Up, Break Down and Close Educate visitors about each species Keep the animals and visitors safe! Ensure the fundamental well-being of all participants during tours. Manage group dynamics effectively, addressing any questions or concerns from guests. Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service at all times. Adapt tours to meet the interests and needs of diverse audiences. Utilize time management skills to ensure tours run on schedule. Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guest interaction and engagement. Stay informed about new animals, wild flowers, wines etc. Requirements Must love the outdoors and be able to work in the heat, cold, wind and rain. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage groups effectively. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to educate others in an engaging manner while maintaining interest. Proficient public speaking skills with confidence in presenting information to groups. Strong time management skills to ensure timely execution of tours. Previous experience in a similar role or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
