College Ambassador

To attend events at local high schools and assist in conducting campus tours and other local events designed to recruit students. Speaking to small and large crowds as required.

High School diploma or GED required with 12 semester hours completed with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Must have concurrent undergraduate enrollment at CTC or Texas A&M Central Texas while employed at CTC. -No experience necessary, training will be provided. The ambassador must be enrolled in at least 6 credits with

during the long semesters each (Fall and Spring). In addition, ambassadors will not be able to work while not enrolled during the fall and spring semester. Must attach transcripts to application to be considered for this position. Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language. Ability to speak in front of groups Basic Computer Skills. Must be articulate. Must be able to write and generate reports. To attend recruiting functions and actively interact with prospective students and parents. Assist in preparation for off and on campus events as directed. Prepare contact reports. Assist in conducting campus tours to prospective students.
