As Tour Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the program while on the road—from managing day-to-day execution to leading and supporting a team of Brand Ambassadors (BAs) & Lead brand ambassadors (LBAs). You'll help create a positive team environment, keep operations running seamlessly, and make sure everything aligns with client expectations. In this role, you'll represent a university-focused program that promotes affordable internet packages for eligible students, educating them on available options, answering questions, and making it easy to get connected. You'll play a key part in expanding digital access and supporting student success both on and off campus. Because this is a traveling role, you'll have the opportunity to visit a variety of local markets and be part of an exciting, fast-paced experience. Flexibility and a willingness to travel consistently throughout the duration of the program are key.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Act as the main point of contact on-site between activations, retailers (if applicable), and the public Confirm activation details, including, but not limited to: exact location of activation, dates and times, activation set-up and tear-down times, price specials, prizes and/or promotions, and security arrangements Secure area and confirm physical boundaries of the activation site Manage and train a team of staff on-site Be the main point of contact for all on-site staff. This includes other in-market teams that are in different locations where the Tour Manager is not present Manage the setup, teardown, load in, and load out of the activation assets Transport promotional vehicle and elements to activation sites Direct and perform the cleaning and maintaining of the site during and after the activation Make on-the-spot decisions that may deviate from original plan of action but are necessary to be successful Ensure each activation is operated with the safety of staff and the public as highest priority Manage activation activities and giveaways Complete activation reporting including, but not limited to: daily recaps, tracking staff attendance, and providing photo/videos Handle all activation problems quickly and professionally Complete weekly expense reports Other duties as assigned and necessary for a successful activation Responsible for scheduling and communicating with a pool of staff each week Valid Drivers License is required Must be 21 years of age or older Additional Role Expectations Prior management experience with strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage clients, staff, vendors, and the public Highly organized multitasker with strong time management, prioritization, and delegation abilities Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and general program tools Strong problem solver with the ability to think quickly, adapt, and make on-the-spot decisions Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments, including outdoor/adverse conditions Willing and able to travel extensively for the duration of the program Operationally focused with experience managing logistics, inventory, timelines, and program execution Detail-oriented with accountability for reporting, documentation, and compliance standards Team-oriented leader who motivates staff, resolves issues professionally, and fosters a positive culture Proactive communicator who escalates issues, shares best practices, and drives continuous improvement Adaptable and collaborative, able to adjust to evolving priorities and client needs Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to meeting or exceeding goals Professional, polished, and brand-aligned in appearance, attitude, and conduct
