Inova Well Alexandria is looking for a dedicated Maternity Tour Guide to join our team. Maternity Tour Guide Job Responsibilities:
The Maternity Tour Guide guides expectant parents through the labor/delivery and postpartum units of the hospital, familiarizing them with the facility so that they are prepared to navigate through the hospital as patients. Responsible for sharing information about women's hospital amenities and services, and relating important facts about what to expect during their stay as a patient. Provides instruction based on specified Inova tour curriculum. Demonstrate expert knowledge of content during maternity tours; Respond accurately and appropriately to participant questions and issues. Demonstrate ability to apply problem solving skills as issues emerge during tours. Maintains knowledge of touring hospital guidelines, procedures and processes. Demonstrate understanding of and ability to review tour rosters and appropriately plan activities for tour participants. Gathers and communicates participant and site contact feedback to the program manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1 year of relevant experience
