Job Description

Responsibilities:
Plan, lead and implement field trips and farm tours for both children and adults. Learn and teach about how we grow fruit, especially apples, including Integrated Pest Management education (we will train you). Help with storytelling during field trips and special events. Ensure assigned students and guests are safe, happy, and enjoying their field trip experience. Safely lead groups in outdoor educational setting; safety is #1! Model appropriate behavior as it relates to manners and respectfulness. Make sure field trip rules and schedule are followed. Provide first aid and complete the necessary forms related to it. Maintain farm cleanliness and encourage guests to clean up after themselves. Educate about the environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma, or active enrollment in school. Experience working with children in field trips or other group settings. Enthusiastic, fun-generating and energetic personality. Enjoys being outdoors. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. High level of responsibility and accountability. First Aid, CPR, and availability to attend field trip training before they start.
