Busser/Food Runner

Duties Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space Assist servers by delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests with accuracy and professionalism Support food presentation by ensuring dishes are served at the correct temperature and in pristine condition Buss tables by removing used dishes, silverware, and glassware, while maintaining cleanliness standards Refill water glasses and assist with guest requests to enhance overall satisfaction Maintain communication with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders effectively Uphold food safety standards during handling, serving, and clearing to ensure guest health and safety Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude Experience with banquet service, bussing, or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory Hospitality or hotel experience can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest services Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your proactive approach makes every guest feel special!
