Food Runner Busser

Job Description Safari & Vine is looking for a hardworking, energetic, and detail-oriented Food Runner / Busser to join our team. Located right by the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, our restaurant serves a thoughtfully curated blend of global flavors in a vibrant, upscale-casual setting. In this vital support role, you will be the essential link between our kitchen and our dining room. You will ensure that every dish is delivered fresh and accurately to our guests, while also keeping our dining room spotless and turning tables efficiently. Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to guests' tables promptly, accurately, and with a friendly demeanor. Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently to minimize guest wait times. Assist servers by refilling water glasses, bringing condiments, and quickly responding to guest requests. Communicate clearly with the kitchen expo and serving staff to ensure a smooth flow of service. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, server stations, and expo line throughout the shift. Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure the restaurant is ready for service. Requirements Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. Strong physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, and safely carry heavy trays or bus tubs for extended periods. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A positive, energetic attitude and a guest-first mindset. Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right hardworking individual!
