Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Server and Cashier, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused attitude will create memorable experiences for every guest! In this lively role, you'll serve up delicious ice cream treats, handle transactions efficiently using popular POS systems, and ensure each visitor leaves with a smile. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster a fun, fast-paced environment that keeps customers coming back for more. Whether you're scooping, serving, or managing the register, your positive attitude will be the key to success in this dynamic food service position. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales quickly and accurately Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with integrity and accuracy Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional treats or beverages to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, counters, and seating zones Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Manage bussing duties to keep the service area tidy and welcoming for guests Skills Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering within quick service or fast food restaurants Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred; familiarity with grocery store or retail math is a plus This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering delightful treats and exceptional service.
