Key Responsibilities:

Table Maintenance:

They assist with clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the dining area.

Supporting Servers:

They help servers with various tasks, such as refilling drinks, bringing condiments, and assisting with large parties or busy periods.

Communication:

. They relay special requests or modifications to the kitchen and servers, ensuring guest needs are met.

Side Work:

. They may also be involved in side work duties like polishing silverware, preparing garnishes, or stocking service stations.

Food Delivery:

Additionally, Backwaiters may be asked to deliver food from the kitchen to the correct tables, ensuring accuracy and speed, when needed.
