Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house service staff, ensuring that food reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and with the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation as needed to uphold restaurant standards Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes and resetting for new guests, supporting smooth service flow Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and management to address any special requests or issues Maintain cleanliness of service stations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed for safety and hygiene Support kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with basic food preparation or ingredient replenishment when appropriate Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety protocols is advantageous Experience in banquet settings or catering services can be a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving, bussing, and customer service excellence Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail A background in culinary arts or hotel operations is beneficial but not required Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
