Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service. You will be serving hibachi grills and regular dining tables.Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Learn menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the chefs and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and clean dining area after guests have finished their meals
- Process guest payments using POS system
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional guest service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Pecan POS, is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
