Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Provide expert recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance the guest experience Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Upsell menu items including premium beverages or specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge and teamwork Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Support the restaurant's overall operations by collaborating with team members and contributing to a positive environment Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining or hospitality environments Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in food handling and serving Experience in food preparation, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities for growth!
