Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate clearly with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and beverage service, while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs with POS systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server is preferred Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive demeanor Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for handling bills, tips, and sales transactions Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments is a plus Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous but not required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your passion for hospitality with your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service.
