Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and tip management. Upsell menu items like cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for optimal guest relations. Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
