JOB SUMMARY
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional service during banquet events and ensuring proper set-up and break-down of event spaces. This role operates on an on-call basis and will be scheduled as business demands require. Scheduling will vary, and regular hours are not guaranteed. This role requires adherence to Saracen Casino Resort's policies and procedures, as well as maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service. Will report to Banquet & In Room Dining Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons, communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner. Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications and standards. Serve food and beverages to guests during banquet events, ensuring accuracy and quality of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces, including set-up and break-down of tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner. Ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction during events. Assist in inventory management by reporting shortages of banquet supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service delivery. Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Attend all necessary training meetings. Assist in other projects as directed by the Banquet and In-Room Dining Ops Manager. Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Previous experience in banquet service or event set-up, preferably in a hotel or casino environment. Must have a professional appearance and be a team player. Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues. Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
