Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing quality dining experience to residents in assisted living facility and ensures meals are served according to diet orders.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets residents (and visitors if applicable) at table before taking orders or serving.
- Politely and efficiently takes meal orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
- Assures adaptive equipment present for residents who require it.
- Serves beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals and deserts.
- Assists residents with opening packaging, cutting food, etc. as necessary.
- Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as necessary.
- Busses dining room tables after every service.
- Cleans dining room chairs after every service.
- Vacuums dining room after meals.
- Sets tables for next meals.
- Completes side duties such as refilling sugar and creamer packets, cleaning beverage containers, etc.
