F&B Cashier and Server Arizona Snowbowl - FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86002 Apply Overview Position Type Seasonal Apply Description Purpose of the position: (PT, Seasonal Position) Operates the food and beverage outlets in a profitable, organized, professional and timely manner. Ensure effective operations of food and beverage outlets through accurate maintenance of par stock, quality control of service and product, proper recording of revenue and payments and compliance with Coconino County Health Department and Arizona State Liquor Department.
Qualifications Essential Functions:
Deliver prompt, high-quality, and welcoming customer service. Communicate food and beverage service policies clearly and effectively to guests and team members. Accurately process guest transactions using POS systems. Manage cash handling, and daily sales reporting with precision. Adhere to all over/short cash policies established by Arizona Snowbowl. Check identification to verify age when serving canned alcoholic beverages, refusing service when required by law. Execute routine SOP tasks, including restocking beverages in refrigerators, condiments, silverware, and items for sale. While also maintaining FIFO (first in, first out) Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean environment for guests and staff in compliance with health department standards. Arrive on time and properly attired, meeting all "Fit for Duty" guidelines outlined in the Food and Beverage Handbook. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operational setting using strong multitasking, adaptability, and poise under pressure. Uphold all policies and procedures detailed in the Arizona Snowbowl Employee Handbook. Participate in opening, closing, and seasonal setup/breakdown activities as assigned. Support other Food & Beverage and Mountain Operations functions as needed during peak periods, special events, and inclement weather. Other tasks as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally move items exceeding 50 pounds with assistance Must be able to load, push and maneuver loaded carts, dollies, hand trucks, over 50 pounds through uneven surfaces. Must be able to perform repetitive bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and shoveling motions throughout a shift. Must be capable of performing snow and ice clearance duties, navigating sloped, icy, or uneven terrain, and working outdoors in harsh winter weather conditions for extended periods. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more.
Work Environment:
Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor food service and mountain facilities, involving regular exposure to winter conditions—such as snow, ice, wind, and cold—and outdoor tasks like guest service, stocking, and facility maintenance. Employees may be required to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding conditions. Employees may be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak operating periods. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures including freezers, walk-in coolers, kitchen equipment, and winter outdoor conditions.

Requirements:
Active Coconino County Food Handlers Required Alcohol Training Certification is Required Must possess or obtain required certifications within 30 days of hire.
