As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar software. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to sanitation guidelines. Skills Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food handling practices. Experience in a nightclub or high-energy restaurant environment is preferred. Excellent upselling skills to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Proficient in using cash registers and performing basic math calculations for transactions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
