The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders usingPOS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience and drive sales through upselling techniques. Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills. Assist with hosting duties when necessary, managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha, Micros) is advantageous; training will be provided as needed. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation methods. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
