The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the "Jewel of the Desert" since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook What you will have an opportunity to do: The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for the preparation, transportation via a bicycle, presentation, and service of room service orders ensuring the highest service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Professionally and with good and friendly service deliver all orders to the correct guest room within the prescribed time period following the guest's order placement. Complete all side work during shift that is designated either by captains, supervisor or manager. Ensure that all orders have correct and proper items before delivery. Assist captain and room service staff when needed. Ensure standards of cleanliness and proper care of all supplies. Have a complete understanding of menu items available through room service. Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality with guest and in room service area, including clear, concise and courteous communication. Assist Buspersons pick up dirty trays on property. Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency. This position is full-time. You must be able to work 2:30pm- midnight. Availability must include weekends and holidays. What are we looking for?

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

EXPERIENCE

Prior Server experience At least one (1) year of hotel / resort experience, preferred POS system experience Experience with Agilysys (POS System), preferred

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

Maricopa County Food Handlers Card Title IV Certification, preferred
