Job Description The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for efficiently delivering food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accurate and timely service.
Responsibilities:
Food Delivery:
Efficiently transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables. Ensure accurate order delivery, verifying items and table numbers. Maintain food presentation and temperature standards.
Table Setting and Clearing:
Set tables with appropriate tableware and condiments. Clear tables of used dishes and debris promptly. Reset tables for incoming guests.
Guest Service:
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Address guest needs and concerns promptly. Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
Kitchen Support:
Assist kitchen staff as needed, such as plating dishes or running errands. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Communicate clearly and efficiently with colleagues. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry trays of food. Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
