Food Runner The Corral at White Tank Ranch Outdoor Dining Live Entertainment Private Events Located in the West Valley at 200th Ave & Olive Ave, adjacent to the entrance of White Tank Mountain Regional Park, The Corral at White Tank Ranch is a unique outdoor restaurant and bar featuring lunch and dinner service, live local music, private events, and beautiful views of the White Tank Mountains. We serve burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, beer, cocktails, and more in a high-energy outdoor setting. Position Overview We are looking for dependable and energetic Food Runners to join our team. Food Runners play an important role in keeping service running smoothly by delivering food from the kitchen to the correct guests quickly and accurately while supporting servers and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. This is a fast-paced outdoor environment where teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are essential. Food Runner Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct table quickly, accurately, and safely. Verify plates against tickets before leaving the kitchen to ensure the correct food and modifications are being delivered. Learn table numbers, seating areas, menu items, and common guest requests. Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding missing items, special requests, or order concerns. Assist servers with running large or multiple orders during busy periods. Ensure food is presented properly and plates are handled safely. Provide guests with basic information about menu items when needed and direct more detailed questions to a server or manager. Bring necessary condiments, sauces, utensils, and other items to tables as needed. Help maintain clean, organized, and stocked food-running and service areas. Assist with clearing and resetting tables when needed. Monitor the dining area and communicate guest needs or service issues to the appropriate team member. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures. Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude throughout the shift. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties as assigned. Requirements Previous restaurant, food runner, server assistant, busser, or similar experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a busy, high-energy environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Friendly and professional attitude with guests and coworkers. Ability to safely carry plates, trays, and multiple items during service. Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather conditions. Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods. Must be available to work Friday and Saturday , including lunch and dinner shifts. Must be willing to work during busy periods, live entertainment, and private events.
