Pool Server

Check station before, during and after shift for proper setup and cleanliness. Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner, and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness. Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy. Enter the order into the "Point of Sale" computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed. When complete, retrieve order up to 25 lbs. from kitchen, confirm its accuracy, lift and deliver to guest along with appropriate condiments. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction. Market and serve upon request any dessert items or specialty coffees. Present the check to guest promptly. Practice "Teamwork" and "Clean as you go" policies. Previous serving or cocktail service experience preferred, ideally in a bar, lounge, or resort setting. Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcohol as set by state law. Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to balance trays of drinks and food items. Extended standing, walking, and bending. The Cocktail Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and professional beverage service to guests in the bar, saloon, or designated service areas. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming environment that enhances the guest experience.
