Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you will deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and efficiently served, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Verona POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks with excellent time management skills Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and assisting with food handling and preparation as needed Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining environment Assist with opening or closing duties such as setting up stations or cleaning work areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Skills Proven experience in food service roles, particularly in fine dining or upscale restaurants, is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Verona POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere Ability to upsell menu items effectively while respecting guest preferences Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, host/host duties, and basic math for cashiering transactions Knowledge of the food industry's best practices for hospitality and guest relations Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a lively lounge or restaurant setting Basic kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food preparation when needed Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
