Job Description

Server We are a small, intimate restaurant dedicated to traditional Italian food. We specialize in wood-fired pizza , Pinsa Romana , and classic pasta dishes. We're looking for a knowledgeable, high-energy server to join our close-knit team and provide a personal touch to every guest's experience. The Role You aren't just a server; you are an ambassador for our menu. We need someone who can speak passionately about the crunch of our dough and confidently navigate our curated Italian wine list to provide the perfect pairing.
Key Responsibilities Menu Expertise:
Master the details of our traditional recipes, wood-fired techniques, and daily specials.
Wine Guidance:
Confidently recommend and serve Italian varietals from our wine listings.
Personalized Service:
Foster a warm, "neighborhood" atmosphere through attentive and friendly guest interaction.
Efficiency:
Manage tables in a fast-paced, casual environment while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements Experience:
Previous experience in Italian dining or a high-volume casual setting.
Knowledge:
Strong foundational knowledge of Italian wines and cuisine.
Vibe:
A proactive, "all-hands-on-deck" attitude suited for a small team.
Communication:
Warm, professional, and able to build rapport with regulars. Requirements Proven experience as a server with leadership or supervisory responsibilities Strong understanding of restaurant service flow and FOH operations Experience with POS systems and cash handling Excellent communication and people-management skills Calm under pressure, solution-oriented mindset Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy Flexible availability (evenings, weekends) High school diploma preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + tips (and/or supervisor differential) Opportunity for growth into a full management role Supportive ownership and a quality-driven Italian concept A professional but human work environment Reality check (important) If someone wants just to serve tables and leave , this is not the role.
