1510 Brea Mall, Brea, CA 92821 ■ Duties Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently. Uphold food safety standards in accordance with health regulations during food handling and preparation. ■ Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in Japanese restaurant. Familiarity with SpotOn systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and provide outstanding guest relations. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
