As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and efficient order management. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverage options with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety in food handling. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process all sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and processing tips accurately. Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and utensils in accordance with food safety regulations. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setup of tables, restocking supplies, and sanitizing work stations. Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change; familiarity with sales transaction processing is essential. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Hospitality background with experience in food industry settings such as restaurants or nightclubs preferred; culinary experience is a bonus.
