Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms. Take accurate orders for food and beverages, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits knowledge, to enhance guest selections and upsell premium options. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and safety protocols. Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and balance receipts at shift's end. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address special requests or concerns promptly, and promote additional sales through friendly upselling techniques. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation management. Culinary experience or beverage expertise with spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation skills, and drink service experience. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Proven ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
