Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing dishes and resetting tables. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in banquet service or hotel dining environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior kitchen experience or culinary training is beneficial but not required. Join our team as a Food Runner and be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests! Must be open to work till 1 am Thursday through Sunday when needed Must be available 1045 to 6 pm Monday through Saturday at least 3 days a week
