Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our team at The Cajun Crab. This role is a combination position where you will greet guests, take orders, serve food, process transactions, and ensure every customer has a positive dining experience. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service, we'd love to have you on our team!Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests promptly in a friendly manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system. Deliver food and drinks to tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle any requests. Answer menu questions and provide recommendations. Operate the cash register/POS system to process payments (cash, credit, and mobile). Bag and process takeout/to-go orders when needed. Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and dining areas. Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with restocking supplies and side work. Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a server, cashier, or in customer service preferred (but not required). Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least [age requirement if applicable, e.g., 18+]Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, and carry trays/plates.What We Offer:
