In this lively role, you'll be the backbone of our restaurant operations, ensuring tables are promptly cleared, reset, and maintained for a seamless flow of service. Your friendly attitude and attention to detail will support our servers and kitchen staff, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Clear and clean tables efficiently after guests leave, ensuring a spotless dining area. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering condiments or utensils as needed. Support food handling procedures by maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas and ensuring proper disposal of waste. Help set up dining areas for service, including arranging tableware and linens to prepare for incoming guests. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and address guest needs promptly. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the restaurant, including floors, chairs, and service stations. Support catering events or special functions by providing excellent hospitality assistance when required. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, bussing techniques, and food handling practices is advantageous. Experience working in hospitality settings such as hotels or catering services is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn about food industry standards and uphold health and safety regulations.
