We are looking for someone who provides great customer service, works well with others, stays organized during busy periods, and helps maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant. The ideal candidate should be punctual, professional, willing to help where needed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Take accurate food and drink orders Enter orders correctly into the POS system Serve food and beverages in a timely manner Check on customers throughout their meal and provide good customer service Process cash and credit card transactions accurately Keep tables, dining areas, counters, and server stations clean and organized Restock condiments, cups, napkins, utensils, and other service items as needed Work closely with cooks, managers, and other staff members Assist with opening and closing duties Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Help with light cleaning, stocking, and other tasks during slower periods Communicate customer concerns or restaurant issues to management Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance Be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled shifts Qualifications Restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system Ability to work well as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and responsible Willing to clean, restock, and help wherever needed Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled What We're Looking ForWe are rebuilding and strengthening our team at Green River Cafe and are looking for employees who want to be part of a clean, organized, professional, and team-oriented workplace.
