Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Manage table settings, bussing, and sanitation to ensure a clean and inviting environment Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining food safety standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food preparation techniques in accordance with health regulations Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations with OpenTable or similar systems Requirements Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Proven ability in sales techniques like upselling to maximize revenue opportunities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations Host/hostess experience or background in guest services is advantageous Knowledge of restaurant operations including bussing, serving, and guest relations Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a vibrant hospitality environment Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
