Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper drink service etiquette Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing, adhering to cash register procedures Upsell menu items and drink options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
