Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring their comfort throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu knowledge, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest relations. Assist with training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a server role within the restaurant or nightclub industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is highly desirable. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
